Title: Berufswunsch Musiklehrer/in – Motive und Selbstbild
Abstract: Im Mittelpunkt der vorliegenden Untersuchung steht die Studien- und Berufswahlmotivation angehender Musiklehrerinnen und -lehrer. Die Entscheidung fA¼r einen Beruf grA¼ndet auf Bewertungsprozessen, die auf einer mA¶glichst optimalen Passung zwischen personalen Eigenschaften und FA¤higkeiten und den mit Ausbildung und Beruf antizipierten Anforderungen basiert. So assoziieren auch Lehramtsstudierende Erwartungen, WA¼nsche und Herausforderungen mit ihrer Berufswahl und treffen EinschA¤tzungen A¼ber ihre FA¤higkeiten und Kompetenzen. Die berufliche Entscheidung fA¼r den Lehrberuf ist seit vielen Jahren Gegenstand von Untersuchungen. Dass die Studien- und Berufswahlmotivation Lehramtsstudierender schulart- und geschlechtsspezifisch differiert, ist bekannt. Es lassen sich aber kaum Aussagen darA¼ber treffen, ob ein bestimmtes Unterrichtsfach bzw. eine FA¤cherkombination mit einer bestimmten Motivstruktur einhergeht. Vor diesem Hintergrund thematisiert die vorliegende Studie (Gesamtstichprobe N = 1.384) die Berufswahl und das Selbstbild angehender MusiklehrkrA¤fte (n = 53) und stellt einen Vergleich mit Lehramtsstudierenden anderer FA¤cher bzw. FA¤cherkombinationen her. Es zeigen sich Unterschiede in einigen Aspekten der Motivstruktur. Die fachbezogene Motivation angehender Musiklehrerinnen und -lehrer im Gesamten differiert nicht von der anderer Lehramtsstudierender. Werden jedoch diejenigen, die Musik als Doppelfach gewA¤hlt haben, einzeln betrachtet, so ist deren fachbezogenes Interesse hA¶her. Mit der Wahl von Musik als Fach werden hA¶here Anforderungen assoziiert als angehende LehrkrA¤fte anderer UnterrichtsfA¤cher dies in Bezug auf ihre FA¤cher tun – schlieAŸlich ist vor Beginn des Studiums auch ein Eignungstest zu durchlaufen. MA¶glicherweise spiegeln sich diese Anforderungen auch in der geringeren Bedeutsamkeit der FamilienvertrA¤glichkeit fA¼r die Berufswahl wider. Es besteht ein Wunsch nach polyvalenter Qualifikation: Offensichtlich ist es angehenden MusiklehrkrA¤ften wichtig, auch fA¼r eine TA¤tigkeit im auAŸerschulischen Bereich qualifiziert zu sein. Der Wunsch nach einer Arbeit mit Kindern und Jugendlichen, die pA¤dagogische Ausrichtung der Motivstruktur, ist mit der aller Lehramtsstudierenden vergleichbar. Eine Charakteristik angehender MusiklehrkrA¤fte ist das Motiv SchA¼lerinnen und SchA¼ler mit besonderen Voraussetzungen zu fA¶rdern; dies umfasst sowohl Kinder und Jugendliche mit besonderer Begabung als auch mit schwierigen Bildungsbedingungen. MA¶glicherweise wird Musik als ein Medium betrachtet, um auf diese SchA¼lerinnen und SchA¼ler eingehen zu kA¶nnen. Eine Differenzierung nach Geschlecht zeigt eine grA¶AŸere Bedeutsamkeit pA¤dagogischer Motive bei weiblichen Musikstudierenden, gleiches gilt fA¼r den Wunsch nach einer Integrierbarkeit von Beruf und Familie. In Bezug auf das Selbstbild, beschrieben durch die Selbstwirksamkeitserwartung und den auf SelbsteinschA¤tzung beruhenden sozialen Kompetenzen, gibt es keinerlei Unterschiede zwischen Studierenden mit und ohne Fach Musik. Die Befunde werden mit den wenigen bestehenden Studien und Beschreibungen diskutiert. Insgesamt zeigt sich die Erwartung bestA¤tigt, dass auch bei angehenden Musiklehrerinnen und -lehrern individuelle Interessen und Erwartungen sowie mit Studium und Beruf assoziierte Anforderungen in die Berufswahl einflieAŸen.SchlagwA¶rter: Berufswahlmotiv, Fachinteresse, MusiklehrkrA¤fte, Selbstbild
