Title: Relative Efficiency of Herbicides for Weed Control in CSH.1 Sorghum
Abstract: Field studies on the relative efficiency of herbicide in CSH. I sorghum were conducted at the Division of Agronomy, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi for two seasons (1968–70). Pre-emergence application of either atrazine or propazine at 0.5 kg/ha followed by one late season hand weeding at 45 days after sowing was the best method of weed control. It was at par with three manual weedings given for the crop and recorded the maximum net income per unit area.
