Title: Geodetic information in support of positioning and navigation
Abstract: GPS navigation users need to relate their GPS position to existing data; generally a map or digital data. It is at this stage that they will require additional information about the coordinate sets used and methods and accuracy of conversion to ensure that the excellent results available from GPS are correctly related to the end product. This extra information is also required to guarantee that GPS derived results from different sources are compatible.
