Title: Homothetic Vectors of Bianchi Type I Spacetimes in Lyra Geometry
Abstract: Complete classification of homothetic symmetries for Bianchi type I spacetimes are studied in the context of Lyra geometry. The non-linear coupled Lyra homothetic equations are solved completely and the general form of Lyra homothetic vectors are obtained for all possible cases of metric functions and displacement function. Thirteen solutions of Lyra homothetic symmetries are obtained which are divided into three parts: seven Killing symmetries, two proper homothetic symmetries and four homothetic Killing symmetries. We found that the dimension of the Lie algebra of Lyra homothetic Killing symmetries for Bianchi type I spacetimes is finite.
