Hotlani Master of Science in Computer Science San Diego State University, 2012 As we know there are 50 different states in USA, and each state has different requirements for teacher credentialing. Languages being taught in different states depend on the requirements of that specific state. Each state has different requirements to get credentialing in world languages. For any aspiring teacher, it requires quality of effort and time to collect the teacher credentialing information for a particular state. This thesis provides a well-developed GUI based web tool (website) for prospective teaching applicants to obtain detailed teacher credentialing information. Being a map-based site, it provides a list of requirements with detailed procedural steps tailored to the user input. It manages user selection of world languages as well as procedural steps to gain a credential. The site describes how a user can get a credential in a specific world language with detailed specifics about specific exams, organizations that administer those exams. Credentialing in non-language areas is also covered.Read More
