Title: Repressed Democracy: Legitimacy Problems in World Society
Abstract: Communication seems to be one of the most common phenomena in our everyday life; whether at home or in the workplace we communicate with other people. Communication serves many purposes: it maintains social ties and social identity, helps to avoid misunderstandings and, if they occur, to explain their causes. What is more, communication appears to be a necessary condition for building agreement on important social issues. These, in turn, are usually discussed in groups of people that work toward a final decision together.
