The utilization of finite element analysis was more acceptable instead of experimental approach. The number of FEA simulation was simplified by using design of experiment (DOE) technique. A polynomial mathematical model, in term of enclosure shell thickness and pressure for the factors; stress and deflection for the response correlations was represented. As a result, all the factors indicate significantly affecting the optimization and the design process of the underwater enclosure.Read More
