Yet, factors hindering adoption of integrated human resource management information system remain an under-researched phenomenon. The main objective of the study therefore was to establish how technology hinders adoption of integrated human resource management information system for service delivery in the civil service, a case study of civil service in Kenya. The specific objective of the study was to establish the extent to which technology hindered adoption of integrated human resource management information system for service delivery in the civil service in Kenya. The study targeted both top and middle level staff of the Ministries of State for Immigration and Registration of Persons, Medical Services and Information and Technology and the Department of e-Government working in Nairobi. There was review of relevant literature to inform the discussions, conclusion and recommendations for the study. The study adopted descriptive research and also used purposive sampling technique to identify three Government Ministries and one Department for the study. The researcher used questionnaires and interview schedules to collect both quantitative and qualitative data respectively.
