It examined the effect of poverty on education and how these could promote development. Identified causes of poverty includes; political instability, manpower, wastage, illiteracy, poor leadership, mental slavery. Possible solutions that could positively resolve the relationship between poverty education development are; well formulated manpower policy, in-service programme for workers, provision of basic necessities by government, re-assessment of our economic, social, cultural and political needs. Attempts are made to show how each of these issues could be integrated into our school system to reduce poverty rate and enhance national development.Read More
