The Golgi apparatus stacks disassemble and long tubules grow out of the Golgi region. After 3 to 5 min, a Golgi apparatus is missing in the cells and instead, the cytoplasm is occupied by a network of membrane tubules being interwoven with membranes of the endoplasmic reticulum.
