Title: ENFORCING MULTI-USER ACCESS POLICIES IN CLOUD COMPUTING
Abstract: In the cloud computing a concept like encryption is very popular & interesting area. The user can access data from any server with unlimited data storage with the security. Multiuser tendency will cost lesser than the expected cost in the single user environment. While dealing with cloud computing, confidential data can be secured from the unauthorized access and internal threats. Cloud servers use smart techniques for achieving this requirement like encryption and decryption of data. The database is stored in the encrypted format on the server & a complex query can be fired on it. Cloud server will maintain the access control policies to reveal the data from the database that are in the encrypted format. In the access control policies, we use KMA which provides the keyset for encryption & decryption of the database. While accessing the data, only encrypted format can be accessed & that can be decrypted by only the authorized user. In the database all attribute names & their respective values can be encrypted which provides much more complexity for unauthorized users. This scheme allows making SQL-like queries on encrypted database in multiuser environment while at the same time, the database owner assign different access rights to users that is defining a specific policy for the database. The major use of this encryption is privacy, access control and data confidentiality. This scheme is useful for multi-user access control projects where the data user becomes the information provider for other users in the same domain. When the information is asked from another domain, first authorization for the data should be checked & according to that, even the user is authorized, the encryption of it should be achieved by using KP-ABE scheme. This provides the key-set which is useful for encryption & for authorized users for decryption of the data. KMA plays an important role to provide such facility for the cloud server. The encryption scheme is independent on the number of users and number of columns.
