Results are presented of research on the effects on soil water conservation, soil chemical and physical properties, wind erosion, and crops yields of long-term CA and conventional tillage in the typical cropping areas in China. In these experiments, along with CA, various kinds of resource conservation technologies were used, such as the no/minimum tillage, controlled traffic tillage treatment and permanent raised beds.
