Title: Synthesis of Functional Nanomaterials Using Green Chmistrty
Abstract: 2 Abstract: Green chemistry is the utilization of a set of principles that reduces or eliminates the use or generation of hazardous substances in the design, manufacture and application of chemical products. The 12 principles of green chemistry have now been applied to the design of a wide range of chemical products and processes with the aims of minimizing chemical hazards to health and the environment, reducing waste and preventing pollution. Application of these principles has reduced the use of hazardous reagents and solvents, improved the material and energy efficiency of chemical processes and enhanced the design of products for end of life. Employing these principle nanosciences will facilitate the production and processingof inherently safer nanomaterials and nanostructured devices
