Title: The application of improved A<sup>2</sup>/O oxidation ditch in municipal sewage treatment
Abstract: In recent years, the research of nitrogen and phosphorus removal in sewage has been a hotspot in the field of wastewater treatment at home and abroad with the worsening of the world-wide eutrophication of water bodies. Improved A <sup xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</sup> /O oxidation ditch of Wulongkou sewage treatment plant in Zhengzhou has achieved good effect to remove organic matter, nitrogen and phosphorus in sewage. Based on the operation practice, this article makes a detailed introduction of the technology components, technology parameters, structure and nitrogen and phosphorus removal mechanisms of improved A <sup xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</sup> /O oxidation ditch technology. According to the operational effect in this sewage treatment, the paper discusses the probable problems and solving measures during the operation of improved A <sup xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</sup> /O oxidation ditch technology, so that the technology can be applied in a better and wider way.
