Title: Stability relations of manganese oxide minerals in metamorphic orebodies corresponding to sillimanite grade in Gowari Wadhona Mine area, Chhindwara District, Madhya Pradesh, India
Abstract: Paragenesis is determined from textural features involves the following minerals--braunite, hollandite, bixbyite, vredenburgite, jacobsite, hausmannite, manganite, pyrolusite, cryptomelane, and hematite. Identifications were confirmed by x-ray. The stability and transformation of these minerals may be correlated with laboratory phase equilibrium studies, although experimentally determined temperatures seem high, perhaps because carried out in air.
