Title: Entrepreneurship and neoclassical economics: any chance for collaboration?
Abstract: Given that entrepreneurship influences economic growth, this paper questions from a pluralist perspective whether neoclassical economic models comport with entrepreneurship education. This paper’s intent is not to develop new economic models; nor to suggest that current models are incorrect. Rather, the intent is to ascertain if entrepreneurship and neoclassical economics can learn from each other. We believe adopting the pluralist, inductive modus operandi of entrepreneurship will stimulate neoclassical economics, and in turn, help develop more fruitful models for entrepreneurship.
