Abstract: Wir berichten über eine 18-jährige Patientin, bei welcher drei Monate nach Therapiebeginn mit Minocyclin gegen Akne Arthralgien und Schwellungen an Fuss- und Handgelenken, Photosensibilisierung und ein Schmetterlingserythem auftraten. Gleichzeitig klagte sie über Müdigkeit, Tachypnoe und unspezifische Schmerzen in der Herzgegend. Bei Reexposition mit Minocyclin traten dieselben Symptome innert Stunden verstärkt auf. Der Nachweis von antinukleären Antikörpern war positiv. Nach Absetzen der Therapie kam es zu einer raschen Besserung der Symptome. Es wurde ein Minocyclin-induzierter Lupus erythematodes diagnostiziert. In den Datenbanken der Swissmedic und der WHO fanden sich 267 weitere Fälle von möglichem Minocyclin-induziertem Lupus. Typisch sind Gelenkbeschwerden (Arthralgien, Arthritis), Myalgien, erhöhte Transaminasen und/oder Ikterus, generalisierte Störungen wie Müdigkeit und Fieber, kutane Reaktionen sowie der Nachweis antinukleärer Antikörper.
