Title: Supercritical water gasification of ethanol fermentation residue of seaweed: effect of sodium chloride salt
Abstract: The effects of sodium chloride salt on the supercritical water gasification of ethanol fermentation residue of seaweed with and without the presence of catalyst (activated carbon) were investigated. The presence of activated carbon did not affect the carbon gasification efficiency. By increasing the salt concentration, the carbon gasification efficiency is reduced until one point, the carbon gasification efficiency remains constant. Based on the result, the kinetics of the reaction is analysed.
