Title: Educational Research Problems from the Viewpoint of Faculty Members in the Educational Sciences Faculties in Jordanian public Universities
Abstract: This study aimed at exploring the educational research problems from the viewpoint of faculty members in the educational sciences faculties in Jordanian public universities through out a questionnaire of five domains (writing educational research, research arbitration, publishing procedures, research teams, and working conditions), distributed on the faculty members in the faculties of educational sciences in four public universities.
The findings of this study revealed that the five areas represented problems in the conduct of educational research to varying degrees, ranged from very large problems to small extent problems. These problems have been sorted as following: research teams, working conditions, the publication process, research arbitration, and writing research.
The results also showed that the domains of educational research problems vary depending on the number of years of experience, the number of published research, academic rank, and the faculty member university.
In light of the results, the researchers suggested a number of recommendations, such as training of educational researchers, reconsidering graduate programs, reducing teaching loads of faculty members, encouraging research teams, and guaranteeing the commitment of journals to the response dates they give to researchers.
