CBR enables information managers to increase efficiency and reduce cost by substantially automating processes such as diagnosis, scheduling and design. In this paper we introduce the essential characteristic of CBR and discuss the comparation of CBR with a range alternative decision support techniques. The problems and limitations of case-based reasoning and other reasoning methods are discussed. And a case study for implementing CBR to the OOExpert is also presented.Read More
