Using beam position histories of excited betatron oscillations that are simultaneously measured at a large number of beam position monitors (BPMs), the spatial-temporal modes of betatron oscillation can be extracted with MIA-mode analysis. The resulting spatial vectors are used to determine linear phase advance and beta function, and the temporal vectors are used to determine nonlinear chromaticity and tune shift with amplitude.
