Abstract: The Papagiannakos family set out to build their wine business some 100 years ago with the cultivation of the Savatiano grape. The winery is the first specially designed and built in Greece according to innovative bioclimatic standards and which marks a new era in regional winemaking. This brief case study looks at the development and plans of the Papagiannakos Estate winery.
