Title: Catheter Ablation of Atrial Fibrillation Improves Left Ventricular Function in Patients with Left Ventricular Dysfunction
Abstract: Tachycardia mediated cardiomyopathy is an important complication of atrial arrhythmias like atrial fibrillation. Studies evaluating the impact of catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation in patients with left ventricular dysfunction are limited by small sample sizes. A meta-analysis of all published studies was therefore done to assess the impact of catheter ablation in this group of patients.
