Title: Efficient Blind Equalization Schemes for Filtered Multi-Tone Modulation
Abstract: On the basis of analyzing the theory of filtered multitone modulation (FMT) and the characteristics of FMT's ISI, this paper presents a kind of subchannel blind equalization structure used in FMT system as well as a novel variable step size blind equalization algorithm (VS-MCMA) based on the modified constant modulus algorithm (MCMA) to alleviate the contradiction between MCMA's convergence speed and steady-state error. Simulation results indicate that comparing with the performance of MCMA, the subchannel blind equalization can perfectly eliminate ISI and the proposed algorithm can simultaneously improve convergence speed by one time and reduce the steady-state error.
