Title: Spatio-temporal instability of S-polarized laser beam and optical turbulence at the formation of spontaneous gratings in waveguide AgCl-Ag films
Abstract: A spatio-temporal instability and an optical turbulence under an irradiation of photosensitive AgCl-Ag films by Gaussian S-polarized laser beam was investigated. The irradiation of the AgCl-Ag film brings to a formation of a system of spontaneous microgratings due to an excitation of waveguide modes on scattering Rayleigh centers. Gratings grow mainly under the action of obliquly incident S-polarized beam because of a azimuth distribution of a scattering radiation.
