Learn more.Copy URL Graphical Abstract Heterostructured semiconductor matchsticks with Ag2S heads and ZnS stems (see TEM image) were synthesized by thermal co-decomposition of Ag(DDTC) and Zn(DDTC)2 (DDTC=diethyldithiocarbamate). The heteronanostructures show both UV/blue (λex=280 nm) and near-infrared (λex=785 nm) photoluminescence.
