Due to mobility, link failure happens frequently so several communication problems such as low successful packet delivery ratio and large control overhead are naturally brought. However, node's mobility may bring dynamic situation, for example, distance between source and destination becomes closer or mobile node takes a role of bridge between disconnected areas. So, it needs to develop scheme as to take advantage of node's mobility. In this paper, we concern the improved throughput in mobility environments. To increase throughput in multihop networks, we design a new scheme to wait and send a packet when a source and destination is expected to be located closely. According to predicting position, we control transmission priority and time of packets as well as the amount of traffic. Simulation results are given to demonstrate the enhanced performance that drastic throughput enhancement is achieved by sacrificing increasing delay.Read More
