Title: Operative Surgery: Principles and Techniques
Abstract: The latest edition of this text edited by Paul F. Nora has been expanded in both depth and scope, as well as being targeted to a slightly different audience. In comparison with the 1,106-page text with contributions from 72 authors published in 1972, the third edition boasts 121 contributors (principally North American) and exceeds 1,400 pages in length. Originally designed as a text and atlas for both the novice and the experienced surgeon, the 1990 edition is more appropriately intended primarily as a guide for surgeons in training.
