The plate antenna consists of a shorting wall attached to the radiator. The radiator is excited by a parasitic L-shaped plate connected to a feeding probe. The vertical section of the L-shaped feeding plate is separated at a distance from the shorting wall. With the electromagnetic coupling between the feeding plate and the radiator, a broad impedance bandwidth is achieved. Also, the antenna with reduced size is able to achieve the stable radiation performance with gain greater than 4 dBi across the entire UWB band. </para>Read More
