Title: Pneumonite por amiodarona- -um caso clínico Amiodarone pneumonitis A clinical case report
Abstract: Amiodarone is an anti-arrhythmic drug that causes many side effects, even when used in low doses (200mg/day). The most important non-cardiologic side effect is hypersensitivity pneumonitis. We present a clinic case of a man, treated with amiodarone for one year, who was admitted with a hypersensitivity pneumonitis. The patient was treated with systemic corticosteroids and amiodarone was suspended, due to the severity of the pulmonary lesions. He had a favourable evolution with regression of the lesions.
