To combat typical error sources of ray launching a novel method with twofold detection areas is used. Good agreement between ray launching and measurements are found in typical indoor environments. Comparisons of the angle of incidence of signal components for measurements and simulations motivate us to use ray tracing as a means of reference for the assessment of algorithms used to determine the angle of incidence.Read More
