Title: The Bourgeois Theory of the "Foreign Trade Multiplier"
Abstract: The so-called "foreign trade multiplier" theory, a theory widely current in contemporary bourgeois economic literature, is of interest from several points of view. First, it reflects the deep-rooted contradictions of capitalism in the sphere of for - eign trade in the period of the general crisis of the capitalist system. Second, it stems from the Keynesian trend (referring to the well-known British economist, J. M. Keynes), the most influential trend in contemporary bourgeois political economy. Third, it is designed to theoretically substantiate and justify the foreign economic policy of the imperialist powers. It is used as a theoretical foundation for the foreign trade expansion of the monopolies.
