Abstract: <h2>Abstract</h2> A case of primary hyperparathyroidism in reported in which the initial presentation was an intraoral lesion clinically resembling a peripheral giant cell granuloma. A brief review of hyperparathyroidism is included. Of interest is the fact that most cases of hyperparathyroidism today are found in asymptomatic patients in whom the disease is discovered on routine blood chemistry analysis.
