Title: A Preliminary Study of Wing Aerodynamic, Structural and Aeroelastic Design and Optimization
Abstract: An integrated wing design optimization has been performed that involves three disciplines: aerodynamics, structures and aeroelasticity. Advanced analysis tools were used in each discipline, such as CFD in aerodynamics and FEM in structures. The communication between disciplines was designed and implemented. Preliminary results show that the design of the system framework is successful.
