Abstract: Abstract The problem of measuring precipitation and determining its monthly sums is discussed. It is shown that the monthly amount of precipitation in the uninvestigated part of Antarctica can be calculated from a map of annual precipitation. Data on the intensity of precipitation are presented. The author also analyzed the spatial distribution of the number of days with precipitation of more than 0.1 mm and monthly precipitation by season and by year.
