Title: Lime-Flyash Stabilization of Asphalt Pavements Using Full-Depth Reclamation
Abstract: Full-depth reclamation has remarkable economic and environmental benefits, as large areas of roads are overhauled and reconstructed. Based on a practical project, the paper introduces the material composition, selection of additives; mix proportion design and the construction technology of old asphalt mixture using lime-flyash stabilization. By laboratory experiments, the strength of mixture requirements, the drying shrinkage and temperature shrinkage property, the water stability and frost resistance are systemically researched and analyzed. The results show that the mixture has excellent pavement performance and therefore proves the feasibility that the mixture can be used as a subbase for high-grade highways or bases for second-grade highway.
