Title: Autogenous coronoid process grafts for condylar reconstruction in temporomandibular joint ankylosis
Abstract: Background and Objectives: Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) ankylosis is a formidable problem in oral and maxillofacial surgery. The coronoid process often needs to be resected and discharged in the patients with TMJ ankylosis. This study describes the use the coronoid process as a candidate material for condylar reconstruction in the patients with TMJ ankylosis.
