Title: Interferon Gamma–induced Protein-10 Concentrations in Children With Previous Tuberculosis Infections and Disease
Abstract: Interferon gamma–induced protein-10 is a diagnostic test for tuberculosis infection. There is no information on its concentrations over time. Interferon gamma–induced protein-10 was evaluated in 72 children formerly treated or in former contact with tuberculosis using Quantiferon Gold in-tube. Cases and contacts had similar interferon gamma–induced protein-10 concentrations. Concentrations varied with the tuberculin and interferon gamma release tests' concordance or discordance, and were independent of time.
