Title: 184. In Vivo SELEX: Generation of Aptamers and Identification of Target Protein Relevant to Tumor
Abstract: SELEX (systematic evolution of ligands by exponential enrichment) is an in vitro iterative selection procedure used to identify oligonucleotides (aptamers) with desired protein or complex targets, such as cells. Given that binding of aptamer depends on their target conformation which is in turn conditioned by the target's environment, and obviously in vitro SELEX is no guarantee for the selected aptamers recognizing their cognate target in vivo, we seek to develop tumor-targeting aptamers through a novel in vivo application of SELEX.
