Title: Levels of mastery of the coordinators and and or and logical test performance
Abstract: The purpose of the present experiment was to study the relation between mastery of the words and and or and performance on conjunctive and disjunctive tasks. A definition test was used to measure level of mastery of the linguistic terms and a traditional logical test to measure logical task performance. The tests were presented to subjects in the age interval 6–22 years. The results showed a close relation between ability to define and and or and pattern of performance on the logical tasks. This was taken to indicate that level of mastery of the words and and or was interrelated with ability to solve logical tasks.
