This instructional device evolved originally from having students respond to each other's writing in order to help them develop a sense of audience. This provided them with a wider relationship than the customary audience of one the teacher. Using students to provide additional feedback seemed a more productive and time saving alternative to the traditional method of feedback coming exclusively from the teacher.Read More
