Title: Hall effect measurements in thin films of Tl 2 Ba 2 CaCu 2 O x
Abstract: Hall effect measurements are one of the primary methods for determining the sign and magnitude of the carrier density in the high-temperature superconductors. Although for La2−xSrxCuO4, Yba2Cu3O7 and Bi2Sr2CaCu2Ox, the positive Hall coefficients predict hole conduction, Nd2−xCexCuO4 has been reported to be an electron-doped superconductor based on Hall and Seebeck measurements. Our results for sputtered thin films of Tl2Ba2CaCu2Ox are substantially similar to the former, indicating this material also exhibits hole conduction.
