Title: Optical properties of a triangular Hubbard lattice
Abstract: We have applied a Hubbard model to a triangular lattice and found that this coordination yields surprising results relative to its rectangular lattice counterpart. A Drude peak arises when a third hopping direction is added and the degree of coordination increases. A similar effect is noted when periodic boundary conditions are applied in the lateral direction, creating a tube from the otherwise flat lattice.
