Abstract: India is a large and growing market with the services sector contributing highly to the growth. Islamic economics are gaining significant growth worldwide but is still in conceptual stage in India. There is a genuine demand for products based on interest free economics. To provide Islamic economics as an alternative to a modern financial system, its viability, application and logic needs to be studied and empirically tested. This study is an empirical attempt to verify the application of the concepts and beliefs of Islamic economics and its perception in the Indian market.
