Title: Microcomputer simulation of structural vibrations
Abstract: Abstract Interactive microcomputer graphics programs, featuring animated simulation sequences, have been developed as educational software for courses in structural dynamics and/or mechanical vibrations. Following a review of essential theory, the various program features are described, and animation techniques discussed. The programs are illustrated with the aid of screen prints of graphics displays for typical numerical examples.
