Title: Comments on the Fe-group track density and track length distribution in different meteoritic and moon crystals
Abstract: The results of investigations of Fe-group nuclei tracks density and track length distribution in olivine and pyroxene crystals picked up from various locations of several different meteoritic and moon crystals are presented. The density of Fe-group tracks is found to vary from 1.1×105 t/cm2 to 1.83×107 t/cm2 for olivine crystals and 1.5×104 t/cm2 to 3.9×107 t/cm2 for pyroxene crystals. The track length spectrum peaks at ∼ 7−10 μm in olivine crystals and at ∼ 10−14 μm in pyroxene crystals.
