Title: Coherent radiation of charged particles moving along a closed path
Abstract: The coherent properties of synchrotron radiation by relativistic charged particles moving along a closed arbitrary path are discussed. The general expression for the radiation coherency factor of a beam consisting of several bunches is obtained. The coherence factor in assumption of Gaussian dispersion of particles in a bunch is derived. In particular, the properties of quasi-coherent radiation of one-dimensional bunches are discussed. It is shown that the essential decreasing of the synchrotron radiation in comparison with the incoherent radiation level is impossible because of the indivisibility of the electron charge.
