Title: Micropaleontological characteristics of middle‐to upper‐Pleistocene deposits on Chelyuskin Peninsula
Abstract: Abstract Studies of foraminifera from exposed sections and drillhole cores from Quaternary sediments on the Chelyuskin Peninsula (northern part of Taimyr Peninsula) reveal the presence of two marine horizons: a Sanchugov and a Kazantsev horizon, i.e., of mid‐Pleistocene age. No evidence of younger, i.e., upper Pleistocene, deposits were found in the field area.
