Title: An examination of visitors’ satisfaction on revisiting intention and recommendations: A case study of the national natural recreation forests in Korea
Abstract: This study examines how visitors' satisfaction influences their revisiting intentions and recommendations of recreation forests to others using a regression with a fixed effect model utilizing Stata. A total of 2079 respondents completed a survey conducted at 33 recreation forests in Korea. The results show that the condition of access roads, maintenance of accommodation, facility conditions of trails, forest scenery, maintenance of litter, and accommodation charges were the best indicators of intentions to revisit natural recreation forests, and the condition of access roads, kindness of personnel, forest scenery, cleanness of streams, maintenance of litter, and accommodation charges were the best indicators of recommending natural recreation forests to others. The results of this study provide suggestions for forest recreation management. Managers of recreation forests need to understand and predict their customers' satisfaction, which influences future revisiting and recommending intentions.
