Title: Crack Resistance of Lime-Flyash-Cement Stabilized Macadam
Abstract: The low early strength problem of lime-fly ash-cement stabilized macadam is studied. Strength characteristics and crack resistance of lime-fly ash-cement stabilized macadam are discussed. Sequencing of dry-shrinkage property and temperature shrinkage property for different kinds of semi-rigid materials are obtained applying the contrast test. Test results indicate that dry-shrinkage property and temperature shrinkage property of lime-fly ash-cement stabilized macadam are better than that of cement and fly ash stabilized crushed-stones and cement stabilized macadam, but are poorer than that of lime-fly ash stabilized macadam under the condition that the cement content (abbreviation CC) is smaller than 2% in the lime-fly ash-cement stabilized macadam. The CC for lime-fly ash-cement stabilized macadam, which is not bigger than 2%, is put forward.
